Rock Paper Scissors, inc is a music tech PR firm representing thousands of music projects from global artists to music tech companies like CD Baby.

I really cut my teeth at this place. I’d just gotten back from my first tour, promoting my first album, and was looking for a side gig in the music industry.

At Rock Paper Scissors, I was the point of contact for publicity outlets, and global bands like DakhaBrakha and Vishtèn. To help with ticket sales on USA tours, I also booked artists on radio shows like Bob Boilen’s Tiny Desk Concert on NPR and collaborated with Rolling Stone for features. My favorite projects were: my work as a publicist for the indie film 'Jimi: All Is By My Side' (starring Andre 3000 and directed by John Ridley) and organizing the 1st CD Baby Conference in Chicago.

CD Baby’s first-ever DIY Musician Conference was a huge success, with more than a thousand independent artists, songwriters, producers, and bands (from over 44 states and 14 countries) coming together for three days in Chicago to learn, help one another out, and take their careers to the next level.
